# 🧠 MRFF – EPCDRI – 2025 Childhood Mental Health Research Grant Opportunity
The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC), on behalf of the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, invites applications for the **MRFF - Emerging Priorities and Consumer-Driven Research Initiative (EPCDRI) - 2025 Childhood Mental Health Research Grant Opportunity**. This **medical research** funding opportunity, totaling **$20,000,000**, aims to improve patient care, translate new discoveries, and foster collaboration between consumers and researchers in the area of **childhood mental health**.
## 🎯 Objectives & Research Topics
Applicants must propose research addressing one of three specific topics, aligning with Aim 2 of a Research Plan (TCR):
* **Topic A:** Improving the **mental health of First Nations children** through **First Nations-led research** with meaningful community involvement.
* **Topic B:** Research conducted by an organisation primarily based in any **Modified Monash Model (MM1–7) area**.
* **Topic C:** Research where the majority organisation, Chief Investigator A, 50%+ of all Chief Investigators, and all participants are primarily based in a **regional, rural, or remote area (MM2–7)**.
Only one topic may be selected per application.
