# ✨ Distributed National Collections Program **Issuing Department:** Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts. **Purpose:** The Distributed National Collections Program aims to identify, develop, conserve, maintain, and display collections of nationally significant artistic or cultural material within Australia. It supports activities that strengthen best practice in the museums and galleries sector, including training, professional development, partnering, networking, and collection support and management. The program specifically assists not-for-profit, incorporated organizations in these endeavors. **Eligible Grantees:** This is a closed, non-competitive grant opportunity.
