# 🇦🇺 Remote Australia Employment Service (RAES) Grant Opportunity
The National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) is offering a Closed Non-Competitive grant opportunity for the **Remote Australia Employment Service (RAES)**, replacing the Community Development Program (CDP) from November 1, 2025. This initiative, categorized under **Employment Services (201002)**, aims to create more opportunities for **job seekers** and **service providers** across over 2,600 **remote Australian communities**. With **$1.151 billion** in total funding, RAES will support approximately 40,000 job seekers currently receiving income support, enabling them to **upskill**, address **employment barriers**, find **pathways to work**, and contribute to their communities. Successful RAES providers will collaborate with communities and job seekers to deliver flexible **employment support**, including **training**, **mentoring**, and connecting individuals with opportunities, potentially those arising from the **Remote Jobs and Economic Development (RJED) program**.
