Summary and scope
Greta Central Oval is a large open space (approx. 22 ha) in Greta, a small township in the Hunter Valley approximately 17km north of the Cessnock CBD. The precinct contains rugby league fields, cricket field, tennis & multipurpose court, skatepark, fenced off leash dog area, an equine sporting area, and undeveloped vegetated areas. The proposed project will replace the outdated amenities building servicing the rugby league field with a new facility up to modern standards that can allow for increased capacity of sporting games in the area.
