Project: Bullawah Wind Farm Project owner: BAYWA R.E. AUSTRALIA PTY LTD Location: NSW Australia Work package status: Closed Scope: Full Scope Work package description: "ICN hereby invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from respective trade contractors and suppliers for the Bullawah Wind Farm project. All EOI submissions should be made through the ICN Gateway." Project overview: Based in 34 countries, with revenues of almost E5.8 billion, BayWa r.e. is a leading global renewable energy developer, service provider, distributor and energy solutions provider, and is actively shaping the future of energy. Using innovation, creativity and expertise, BayWa r.e have successfully brought over 6 GW of renewable energy online, while managing over 10.5 GW of assets.BayWa r.e. are proposing to develop Bullawah Wind Farm, located 36km south east of the township of Hay, in the Riverina Region located within the Hay Shire, Murrumbidgee and Edward River Local Government Areas (LGAs) and in the South West Renewable energy Zone (REZ)The key components of the Project include:- Up to 143 Wind turbine generators- Battery energy storage facility- Permanent ancillary infrastructure including internal roads, hardstands, main and collector substations,switchyards, operations and maintenance facilities, underground and overhead electricity transmissionlines and poles, telecommunications facilities and utility services, permanent meteorological masts andwater storage tanks- Temporary facilities including the temporary workforce accommodation (TWA) camp, site offices,amenities, construction compounds and laydown areas, on-site borrow pits, rock crushing facilities,concrete or asphalt batching plants, minor work front' construction access roads, environmentalmanagement and monitoring and signage- Off-site road works, involving upgrades to the proposed local transport route and establishment of siteaccess points to facilitate delivery of wind turbine components to the Project Area as required.Construction commencement is scheduled for 2026 with an expected workforce of up to 350 people during construction.Expression of Interest :BayWa r.e. encourages local industry interested in supplying to the project to provide a Expression of interest (EOI) through the ICN Gateway.Information on specific supply opportunities will be communicated on the ICN Gateway project page as it becomes available, with local industry able to register its interest against them.Please ensure that:Your company profile on the ICN Gateway is complete, up-to-date and accurate including electing to be notified via e-mail of supply opportunities and to register your expression of interest where appropriateExplore Job Opportunities and Local Talent in the Riverina Murray RegionAre you visiting the project page to review work packages, but also seeking job opportunities with a Riverina or Murray based project?
