Summary and scope

The ATM seeks suitably qualified provider(s) who can deliver the provision of AtoN maintenance and related services on a regional basis, in accordance with the Statement of Requirements and the Draft Contract. AMSA is responsible for providing an effective system of marine AtoN to the commercial shipping industry that meets the standards set by the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA). The Aids to Navigation (AtoN) Network administered by AMSA consists of approximately 485 aids to navigation located at approximately 360 sites around Australia’s coastline which assist mariners to make safe and efficient passages. The AtoN (and associated equipment) comprise a variety of structures and systems across the AtoN Network that are required to be maintained throughout their useful life.
