Summary and scope
Douglas Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for amendments to the Douglas Shire Planning Scheme (the Planning Scheme Amendment Project) as described in more detail in Part 5 – Scope.Overall, the Planning Scheme Amendment Project will involve the preparation and delivery of a suite of amendments in close consultation with DSC staff, elected representatives, state agencies and other stakeholders. Early stakeholder engagement and consultation will be required to facilitate streamlining the planning scheme amendment process under section 18 of the Planning Act 2016 and align with contemporary plan-making processes.
