Project: M1 Pacific Motorway extension to Raymond Terrace - Southern contract Project owner: John Holland Gamuda Joint Venture Location: NSW Australia Work package status: Closed Scope: Full Scope Work package description: Service Project overview: The ProjectThis project, built for Transport for NSW (Transport) is a 10-kilometre section that extends from Black Hill to Tomago and includes the construction of a new four lane divided road between the M1 Motorway near John Renshaw Drive intersection at Black Hill and a point north of Old Punt Road east of the existing Pacific Highway at Tomago.The main features of the project include:- a 10-kilometre section of dual carriageway, with two lanes in each direction- four lane divided road (two lanes in each direction) with a median- new interchanges at Black Hill with connections to and from the intersection at the M1 Pacific Motorway, John Renshaw Drive and Weakleys Drive.This interchange will also provide a connection to and from Lenaghans Drive Tarro with new connections to and from the New England Highway including an upgrade of the New England Highway to six lanes between John Renshaw Drive and the existing Tarro interchange.Substantial construction will begin around September 2023 with the project expected to be open to the public by 2028.Organisations who express interest in the project will be contacted by the John Holland Gamuda Joint Venture if their services could be used and invited to participate in the tender process.You can find out more about the project here.Industry BriefingICN NSW, Transport and the John Holland Gamuda JV are inviting local suppliers to attend an Industry Briefing session to listen about available opportunities and the procurement process.Date: Wednesday 2 August 2023Time: 3.30 PM - 5.30 PMVenue: Hexham Bowling Club (290 Old Maitland Road, Hexham)Registration: https://www.trybooking.com/CITBTHow to register an Expression of Interest (EOI)- Work packages currently available to submit an EOI for are listed in the 'Work Packages' tab above.
