Summary and scope
AFMA seeks to establish a panel of service providers to supply a broad range of charter vessel services to combat and deter illegal foreign fishing around Australia and its external territories, and on the high seas where Australia has an interest. Services being sought include: Fisheries patrols; Land based disposal support; Disposal at sea; and Foreign fishing marine debris retrieval and land disposal. The panel is intended for ad hoc engagements, typically between 3 days and 3 months depending on the service and area of operation. The initial term of the panel is three years with the option for a single extension for a further three years. Service providers may submit a tender response for one or more services within one or more locations.
