Construction and Installation of Coolamon Display Case and Replacement Partnerships Display

🏗️ Project Overview The Department of Industry, Science and Resources, on behalf of Questacon, is inviting submissions for the Construction and Installation of a Coolamon Display Case and Replacement Partnerships Display. This project involves the fabrication, delivery, and installation of a custom display case for the Coolamon artefact, alongside the removal and replacement of an existing partnerships display within the Questacon foyer in Canberra, ACT. 🛠️ Scope of Work Successful bidders will be responsible for: Detailed Design & Fabrication: Creating production drawings and fabricating display units with integrated digital elements, lighting, and high-durability finishes. Site Installation: Managing the installation process within a high-traffic public environment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations by working outside standard public hours (before 8:30 am or after 9:00 pm). Make-Good Works: Completing all necessary repairs to walls, finishes, and infrastructure associated with the display relocation. 📋 Requirements & Qualifications Suppliers must demonstrate: Proven expertise in exhibit fabrication and digital integration. Ability to manage complex site constraints and strict Work Health and Safety (WHS) compliance. Capacity to deliver within the project timeframe of June 2026 to December 2026. 📍 Location & Submission Location: Canberra, ACT.
