Summary and scope
The Game On: Teaming Up for Climate Action program will provide grants to deliver energy and climate resilience upgrades to community sports facilities and aims to leverage the power of sport as a catalyst for inclusive climate action and community engagement. Program Support Providers play a critical role in this initiative by raising awareness of the Program and its objectives, raising awareness of the opportunities for other parties to support the Program through co-funding community sports facilities upgrades projects, and supporting sports clubs to participate. Through outreach, education, and Program awareness activities, these Providers will help local communities experience tangible benefits from Australia’s energy transition. In addition to raising awareness, Providers will provide general advisory support to potential grant applicants, along with monitoring and evaluation support services to the Customer. The Customer may appoint one or more Provider for an initial term from commencement until 31 July 2028. An option to extend the contract term may be offered.
