The Emergency Shelter at Lot 178 Sydney Highway, West Island is owned by the Commonwealth Government of Australia (The Commonwealth). The Western Australian Government, Department of Housing and Works (DHW) is responsible for managing the Emergency Shelter under an agreement on behalf of The Commonwealth. Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) (The Principal) has been contracted to provide comprehensive property management services on behalf of The Department of Housing and Works (The Client). The Shelter serves as a critical place of refuge for community members during severe weather events and emergencies. The shelter's continuous availability and fitness for purpose is essential to the community.
