🏢 Project Overview The City of Sydney is inviting tenders for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of HVAC units and domestic hot water systems at the Cook & Philip Park Pool (CPP). This project is a critical component of the City's broader commitment to eliminate natural gas usage across its operations and transition its aquatic centers to fully electrified systems. 🛠 Scope of Work The successful contractor will be responsible for: Decommissioning: Removal of four existing gas-fired Baxi boilers and associated Air Handling Units (AHU) in the northern plant room. Installation: Implementation of new heat pump systems, including the installation of condensers in the designated area under the pedestrian ramp and new storage systems in the northern plant room to support domestic hot water and space heating for the gym and office areas. 📋 Requirements & Qualifications Bidders must adhere to the specifications outlined in Part B, including mechanical and hydraulic requirements. A mandatory site visit is scheduled; please refer to section 2.3 of the Standard Conditions. Contract departures must be submitted at least 10 business days prior to the closing date.
