### 🏗️ Project Overview
North East Water is inviting tenders for the **Mount Beauty WWTP Switchboard & Motor Control Centre (MCC) Upgrade**. This project involves the installation of a new main switchboard (MSB) and the comprehensive upgrade of the MCC at the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The project is structured as a **Design and Construct** contract with a completion target of March 2027.
### 🛠️ Scope of Work
The successful Principal Contractor will be responsible for:
* **Switchboard & MCC Installation:** Relocation and installation of new MSB and MCC units.
* **PLC Upgrades:** Migration from existing Allen Brady PLCs to modern **Omron NX Series PLCs**.
* **SCADA Integration:** Programming based on Liquitek’s “Functional Description”.
* **Infrastructure Upgrades:** Relocation of the Ausnet “point of supply” and replacement of power, sub-mains, and control cabling.

* **Site Visit & Briefing:** Attendance at the mandatory site briefing at Mount Beauty WWTP (33 Embankment Drive, Mount Beauty, VIC) on **16 April 2026 at 11:00 am** is a strict pre-requisite for bid submission.
* **Qualifications:** Bidders must be suitably qualified to handle complex electrical and water infrastructure projects.
