The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) is seeking a qualified **Geotechnical and Civil Engineer** to provide professional services for the development of a new access road, car park, and day-use facilities at **Frenchman Peak** in Cape Le Grand National Park. Located approximately one hour east of Esperance, this project aims to enhance visitor infrastructure for one of the region's most popular walking trails.
### 📋 Key Requirements & Scope
The selected consultant will be responsible for a comprehensive range of engineering services, including:
* **Geotechnical Analysis:** Determining soil properties for road foundations and assessing the suitability of existing materials for recycling as road base.
* **Design & Documentation:** Preparing detailed construction drawings and written technical specifications suitable for tender.
* **Financial Planning:** Providing an Opinion of Probable Cost (OPC).
* **Project Support:** Delivering construction supervision and technical assistance to the DBCA Project Manager.
