Summary and scope
The Department of Health (DoH) on behalf of WA Health Service Providers (HSPs), are seeking to establish a Contract for the provision of Interim Hospital Package (IHP) home support services under a standing offer arrangement. The IHP program provides support and service for individuals in scenarios where there is a delay or absence of usual ongoing community service options, including Commonwealth subsidised aged care services such as the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and Home Care Packages (HCPs), and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This Request specifies the service requirements for IHP services under two categories, these being: 1. Service type (one or more of home settling, personal care, domestic assistance); and 2. Geographic area (postcodes serviced within the Perth metropolitan area and regional WA as defined by Metropolitan Regional Health Service catchment boundaries). Respondents may submit their Offer for any or all service types. Respondents may submit an Offer for the provision of IHP services in metropolitan and/or regional areas.
