### 🏗️ Project Overview NSW Public Works is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified contractors for the **Design Development and Construction (DD & C) of the Queanbeyan Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) Upgrade**. This project aims to deliver a robust, reliable, and sustainable 75,000 EP sewage treatment facility to ensure long-term public health and environmental protection. ### 📋 Scope of Work The successful Principal Contractor will be responsible for: * **Design Elements:** Including lime silo/dosing, chemical storage, electrical infrastructure, and specialized equipment like clarifiers and biosolids conveyors. * **Construction:** Full construction of the new STP, pre-commissioning, and post-commissioning operational support. * **Infrastructure Upgrades:** Mountain Road and potable water supply improvements. * **Site Remediation & Restoration:** Environmental remediation and landscaping. ### 🔑 Key Requirements * **Pre-qualification:** This is a two-stage process; this EOI is Stage 1 for pre-qualification only. * **Site Visit:** A non-mandatory site briefing is scheduled for **18 May 2026**.
