### 🏗️ Project Overview The South West Institute of TAFE (SWTAFE) is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the **Hamilton Campus Refurbishment Project – Fire Services Upgrade**. This project involves the comprehensive design and construction of new fire protection infrastructure at the Ballarat Road Campus in Hamilton, Victoria. The existing fire systems have reached the end of their operational life and require a full replacement to meet current safety and compliance standards. ### 🛠️ Scope of Work The successful contractor will operate under a **Design and Construct (D&C)** methodology, taking full responsibility for detailed design, permits, and certification. Key deliverables include: * **System Replacement:** Full decommissioning of redundant assets and installation of new wet fire systems. * **Infrastructure:** Installation of fire water storage tanks, AS 2941-compliant pump systems, and a campus-wide ring main hydrant supply. * **Compliance:** Adherence to Australian Standards (AS 2419.1, AS 2441-2005, AS 3000). * **Civil & Electrical:** All necessary structural foundations, electrical compliance testing, and commissioning. * **Handover:** Provision of as-installed drawings, O&H manuals, and staff training. ### 📅 Key Dates * **EOI Close Date:** 30th March 2026 * **RFT Process:** Expected to commence early April 2026 * **Project Completion Goal:** September 2026 ### 📋 Requirements for Bidders Interested parties must submit capability statements as outlined in the EOI documentation.
