Summary and scope
Expression of Interest (EOI) This project is to construct a permanent flood barrier to prevent flood water ingress to the site from a flood event (113.18 mAHD). This will consist of a concrete flood barrier for the majority of the site, an earthen levee to protect heritage buildings on Welsford Street and a combination of sliding and slot in flood gates at the entrance. Stormwater management measures are also proposed to manage internal site drainage during both normal weather conditions and river levels and during a flood event.
