The resort offers unparallelled village amenities and snow sports terrain in both alpine and cross-country skiing and annually provides thousands of people their first snow experience. With winter visitation exceeding over 450,000 visitor days across the declared snow season, the resort is an award-winning major tourist attraction in the Northeast of Victoria. The Windy Corner precinct of Falls Creek is a hub for all winter visitors and the gateway to the cross-country ski trails. The precinct includes a day shelter, amenities, a small commercial café, cross-country ski hire facility and day parking. The café provides indoor seating for approximately 20 people as well as being adjacent to the day shelter with seating for up to approx. 80 people. It has a full commercial kitchen, providing a warm space for winter visitors. Access to the café is via the day shelter entrance or the ski hire facility.
