Summary and scope
This procurement is for the design, supply and integration of four (4) Slip-On Fire Units suitable for Ford Ranger Super Duty cab chassis specifications. ForestrySA requires Slip-On Units that can be securely removed and transferred to replacement vehicles. A tray-mounted configuration may be considered to accommodate minor model-year variations and simplify removal for vehicle repairs. ForestrySA will lease four (4) Super Duty cab chassis through the across-government fleet contract provider. The first two (2) vehicles are scheduled for delivery on 20 November 2026, with the remaining two (2) due by 21 February 2027 and 30 May 2027.
