Summary and scope
This is a Notice of Intent (NOI) for an upcoming Request for Tender (RFT) release. The close date of 28 August 2026 relates to this NOI. We encourage interested suppliers to monitor AusTender for all updates. The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing (department) seeks to establish a panel of organisations and individuals with expertise in HTA to deliver analysis, evaluations and support services. These services will assess the safety, clinical effectiveness and cost effectiveness of health technologies and support the work of key advisory committees, including the Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC) and the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC). Panel members will provide a range of assessment, review, research and technical reporting services, including support for co-dependent technologies, vaccine evaluations, the Prescribed List, and reimbursement and policy decision making, delivered on an as needed basis under a standing offer arrangement.
