### 🏥 Project Overview The Department of Health (Tasmania) is seeking a **Principal Contractor** for the construction of the new **Northern Mental Health Precinct** located at the Launceston General Hospital (LGH), 52 Frankland Street, South Launceston. This project is a key component of 'Stage Two' of the Launceston General Hospital Precinct Masterplan. ### 🏗️ Scope of Work The successful contractor will be responsible for delivering a modern facility that includes: * A new mental health in-patient unit (replacing the existing Northside Unit). * A 30-bed dedicated urgent care unit. * A Recovery College. * A Safe Haven facility. ### 📋 Key Requirements & Qualifications This is a **covered procurement** subject to various Free Trade Agreements.
