LC4 IS and T Summit 2026

Summary and scope

The LC4 IS&T Summit 2026 is a two-day event scheduled for 27-28 May 2026 in Adelaide, South Australia. The summit will support Defence’s Strategy of Denial by identifying and accelerating the adoption of emerging Science and Technology (S&T) capabilities critical to the Integrated C4 (IC4) ecosystem. It will focus on technologies that enhance the agility, resilience, and lethality of the Land Joint Force within the Future Integrated Force, including quantum sensing, edge AI, autonomous systems, resilient communications, and battlefield data fusion. The program will feature an update on the LAND4140 Program, panel discussions with Defence and key stakeholders, and a fireside chat with senior leadership. The summit will also explore operational integration of emerging technologies in contested environments, strengthen collaboration with Australian industry and academia, and drive innovation through co-design with Defence leaders. This initiative aligns with Defence’s strategic objectives to rapidly adopt technology, enhance sovereign capability, and foster industry partnerships.
