Summary and scope
The Lifetime Support Authority (LSA) delivers the Lifetime Support Scheme (LSS). The LSS provides high quality treatment, care and support for people who are seriously injured in motor vehicle accidents in South Australia. Serious injuries include brain or spinal cord injury, amputations, burns and blindness. The purpose of this procurement is to establish an Attendant Care Panel to provide attendant care and related services to LSS Participants. This is to replace an existing Panel that expires on 30 September 2026. The new Panel will include two primary categories: standard care and high intensity care and will also request information regarding registered nursing and cleaning services. Attendant care services refer to personal assistance provided to individuals who require help with essential daily living activities like bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, and grooming, due to a disability or medical condition, allowing them to maintain independence in their own home. These services can be short-term for recovery or long-term for chronic needs. High intensity attendant care services refer to personal care services that require complex care provision, professional skills, training and expertise.
