Summary and scope
Parks Victoria is seeking to engage an experienced Landscape Contractor to deliver the Yani Barripbarripuyt (formally Shrine to Sea) Construction Works. The works includes the delivery of new pedestrian pathways, bench seating, seating and outdoor education areas and the installation of storytelling signage and artwork across two key areas located in front of the Mac Robertson Girls' High School and the South Melbourne Park Primary School along Albert Road in Albert Park. This project also has a significant horticulture element with the inclusion of large mounded garden beds and the creation of woody meadows within each key area. Once complete, the area will be transformed with improvements to create useable open space with a green boulevard, safer and clearer links and connections for walking and the opportunity to learn more about the local history.
