Summary and scope

The Provision of Emissions Profiles for regions and selected demonstration farms including farm level Cost Benefit Analysis is a key deliverable under the South Australia Livestock Sustainable Solutions Project, jointly invested by PIRSA and Meat & Livestock Australia. This component of the project consists of up of 3 work streams: regional emissions profiles, emissions baselining on selected sustainable solutions demonstration sites, and a series of ex-ante cost benefit analysis for farm-level mitigation activities. This work aligns with PIRSA’s strategic objectives to foster sustainable primary industries, drive innovation, and support informed decision-making through credible data. The project will also support PIRSA’s ongoing commitments under both the SA Carbon Farming Roadmap and the State Net Zero Strategy, along with the MLA 2030 strategy contributing toward Australia’s net zero ambitions. Interested businesses are encouraged to submit responses for one or more individual components, or for the full scope of the project.
