🏗️ Tender Overview North East Water is inviting tenders for the Design and Construction of the Beechworth Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Upgrade. This project involves transitioning the facility from a lagoon-based treatment process to a modern biological nutrient removal plant. 📋 Scope of Work The successful Principal Contractor will be responsible for the delivery of: Infrastructure: New concrete bioreactors, inlet works, and outfall pipework. Treatment Systems: UV disinfection system, sludge thickener, aerobic digester, and sludge dewatering unit. Integration: Electrical and control systems, connection to existing assets, and refurbishment of an existing lagoon for flow/load buffering. 📍 Key Requirements Mandatory Briefing: A site visit and briefing session are mandatory prerequisites for bid submission.
