Cooling Schools Mechanical Services Upgrade- Four (4) DOE Nominated Sites

🏫 Tender Overview: Cooling Schools Mechanical Services Upgrade Programmed Facility Management (PFM), acting on behalf of the Department of Housing and Works (DHW) and the Department of Education (DoE), invites tenders for mechanical services upgrades at four Western Australian primary schools. This project aims to modernize climate control systems to meet current DoE standards. 🛠 Scope of Work Successful contractors will be responsible for: System Removal: Decommissioning and removal of existing evaporative cooling systems and gas heaters. Installation: Supplying and installing new refrigerated air conditioning systems in accordance with the DoE Standard Brief. Infrastructure Upgrades: Incorporating mechanical fresh air systems for classrooms and performing necessary minor building works. Service Relocation: Managing the relocation of affected infrastructure, including power/data points, WAP equipment, security sensors, PA speakers, and fire safety systems. 📍 Project Locations High Wycombe Primary School Dawson Park Primary School Serpentine Primary School Spearwood Primary School 📋 Key Requirements Contractors must be suitably qualified and experienced in commercial mechanical services. PA systems must remain operational during term time to maintain evacuation compliance.
