### 🏗️ Project Overview
Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council (QPRC) is inviting tenders for critical stormwater infrastructure upgrades located at Maslin Place, Bungendore. The project aims to mitigate drainage issues by replacing existing open swales with reinforced concrete box culverts (RCBC) and installing new drainage systems to improve runoff management for local residential properties and the Kings Highway road reserve.
### 📋 Scope of Work
The successful contractor will be responsible for:
* **RCBC Installation:** Construction of approximately 210m of dual 2100 x 600 RCBC, including in situ base slabs and specialized structures within residential easements (7-15 Maslin Place).
* **Drainage Upgrades:** Installation of a new DN450 stormwater drain with sumps to capture runoff from Rosella Drive and address low spots at 112, 112A, and 112B Molonglo Street.
* **Demolition & Reconstruction:** Removal of the existing 700mm wide open concrete drain along the western side of Kings Highway and installation of a new 1500 x 900 mm inverted RCBC.
### ⚠️ Key Requirements
Given the proximity to residential dwellings, bidders must demonstrate a robust construction methodology and safety approach. Prioritizing the safety of residents, pets, and property protection is mandatory. Effective communication strategies with affected residents are essential deliverables for this project.
### 📅 Mandatory Requirements
A **mandatory pre-tender meeting** is scheduled for Wednesday, 11 March 2026, at 14:00, starting at the western cul-de-sac on Maslin Place. Attendance is compulsory for all prospective tenderers.
