### 🏗️ Project Overview NSW Public Works is inviting tenders for the **Clarence Valley Levee Remediation (RFT-2012951)**. This project focuses on the repair, restoration, and betterment of flood mitigation infrastructure damaged during the severe weather and flood events of February and June 2022. The initiative is part of the Flood Levee Repair Program (FLRP), aimed at enhancing community resilience against future flood disasters. ### 📋 Scope of Work The successful contractor will be responsible for the design and construction of several key infrastructure components, including: * **Maclean Levee:** Reconstruction of approximately 500m of rockwall and installation of a new operable flood gate at the Essex drain. * **McDonald Lane:** Redesign and installation of an operable flood levee gate. * **Grafton Levee:** Design and construction of approximately 150m of rockwall at Blackwood Close. * **Environmental Works:** Construction of a 0.29ha mangrove offset site at Kings Creek Road, Lawrence. ### 🔑 Key Requirements * **Procurement Method:** Two-Envelope system (Non-price and Price information). * **Social Procurement:** Compliance with Construction Policy and Shorter Payment Terms Policy is mandatory. * **Pre-Tender Meeting:** A non-mandatory meeting is scheduled for March 23, 2026, in Maclean.
