### 🏗️ Project Overview NSW Public Works is seeking experienced contractors for the **Clarence Valley Levee Remediation (RFT-2012951)** project. This initiative, funded by the Flood Levee Repair Program (FLRP), aims to restore and improve critical flood mitigation infrastructure damaged during the 2022 severe weather events in the Clarence Valley Local Government Area. ### 📋 Scope of Work The successful bidder will be responsible for the design and construction of several key infrastructure improvements, including: * **Maclean Levee:** Reconstruction of approximately 500m of rockwall and installation of a new operable flood gate at the Essex drain, including culvert repairs. * **McDonald Ln, Maclean:** Redesign and installation of an operable flood levee gate. * **Lawrence:** Construction of a 0.29ha mangrove offset site on Kings Creek Rd. * **Grafton Levee:** Design and construction of approximately 150m of rockwall at Blackwood Cl. ### 🔑 Key Requirements * **Procurement Method:** This is a two-envelope tender process (Non-price and Price information). * **Compliance:** Contractors must adhere to social procurement policies regarding construction and shorter payment terms. * **Registration:** A non-mandatory pre-tender meeting was held; bidders must ensure they are registered on the [buy.nsw](https://buy.nsw.gov.au/) platform. * **Submission:** Electronic submission via the buy NSW Tenders portal is mandatory.
