### 🏗️ Project Overview The **NSW Police Force** is seeking tenders for the design and construction of a new **Student Recreation Building (Clubhouse)** at the Police Academy. This facility is intended to serve as a central, inclusive hub for students to engage in social interaction, relaxation, and community building. ### 📋 Scope of Works The successful contractor will be responsible for the full delivery of the recreation shed, including: * **Structural Design:** 6-bay structure (5m per bay), featuring 5 enclosed open-plan bays and 1 undercover COLA area. * **Fit-out:** Full internal fit-out, including flooring, electrical, and plumbing. * **External Works:** Concrete slab, footpaths, two 4m-wide verandahs, and a dedicated BBQ area. * **Amenities:** External-access toilet facilities and a non-cooking kitchenette. * **Compliance:** All works must adhere to the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards (AS/NZS), and WHS regulations. ### 🔑 Key Requirements * **Scheme Membership:** Bidders must hold membership in the **Construction Scheme (SCM0256)** for works up to $1 million. * **Contract Type:** The project will be delivered under a **GC21 Contract**. * **Site Access:** A mandatory site inspection is scheduled for the week of 4/5/2026.
