Power and Water Corporation (Power and Water) seeks Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified strategic partners to provide technical support services for its economic, regulation and pricing requirements, which are currently managed by the Regulation and Commercial (RAC) team based in Darwin. This initiative is designed to strengthen regulatory compliance, enhance analytical capabilities, and deliver long-term operational efficiencies across multi-utility services.The strategic partnership will focus on:· Regulatory Support: Assisting with submissions, compliance, and engagement with customers, stakeholders and economic regulatory bodies.· Technical Expertise: Providing advanced analytical tools and methodologies to support business case development and deliver improved quantity and revenue forecasting and pricing strategies.· Capability Building: Developing internal skills and knowledge to reduce reliance on external consultants over time.· Innovation and Efficiency: Leveraging technology, including AI and automation, to streamline processes and achieve cost savings.The engagement is expected to span 5–7 years, delivering measurable improvements in regulatory performance, customer outcomes, and economic sustainability for the Northern Territory. Respondents should demonstrate proven experience in regulatory economics, technical support for utilities, and a commitment to collaborative knowledge transfer.
