๐ฒ Project Overview The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water is seeking qualified contractors for the Goonoo National Park and State Conservation Area Fire Access and Fire Trail Upgrade (SR00985). This project is part of the Fire Access Fire Trail (FAFT) Program, aimed at enhancing bushfire safety and accessibility. ๐ Scope of Work The successful bidder will be responsible for civil works to renew and upgrade approximately 55.5km of strategic fire trails. All works must adhere to the Category 1 Fire Trail standards established by the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) and follow the Fire Trail Design, Construction and Maintenance Manual (2017). ๐ Key Requirements Scheme Membership: Contractors must hold membership in the Construction Scheme (SCM0256) for works up to $1 million. Mandatory Briefing: Attendance at a mandatory pre-tender briefing is required.
