### 🏗️ Project Overview The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water is seeking qualified contractors for the **Schlinks Pass Culverts 27 & 28 Stabilisation Project (SR01087)**. This critical infrastructure project aims to repair slope failures at two culvert sites on the Schlink Pass Road within Kosciuszko National Park (KNP). ### 🎯 Scope of Work The successful contractor will be responsible for: * **Site Preparation:** Developing WHS, environmental plans, and work methodologies. * **Civil Works:** Excavating road cutting faces and road benches to a depth of 3 metres. * **Structural Improvements:** Constructing terramesh reinforced gabion retaining walls and installing new drainage structures, including half-round corrugated steel pipes and reno mattresses. * **Rehabilitation:** Site cleanup, soil disposal, and final rehabilitation. ### 📋 Key Requirements * **Mandatory Scheme:** Bidders must be members of the **Construction Scheme (SCM0256)** for works up to $1 million. * **Pre-Tender Meeting:** A mandatory meeting is scheduled for **April 2, 2026, at 10:30 AM** via Microsoft Teams.
