Summary and scope
Council is seeking to engage the services of a suitably qualified contractor or contractors to carry out annual roadside slashing as part of the Bushfire Management Plant on all rural roads, DPTI roads, road reserves, and fire tracks throughout the District. The scope of works is divided amongst 8 different district wide zones. Tenderers may submit a quotation for zones 1 – 4, or zones 5 – 8, or for all 8 zones. It is proposed that the Contract will be for a term of three (3) years with an option to extend for one further period of 12 months at the discretion of Council, and may be awarded as a panel of contractors to one or more tenderers.
