Lump sum tenders are invited for construction of the Council designed Castaways Beach Safety Improvements project. These works are located at the Castaways Beach car park on David Low Way, Castaways Beach. The works are to be constructed prior to resurfacing of David Low Way (by others), with a portion to be completed post-resurfacing. The scope of works includes but is not limited to: • Construction of new kerb and channel, stormwater drainage, and concrete footpaths; • Minor earthworks and embankment construction; • Revegetation and maintenance of disturbed areas; • Installation of concrete turf cells, outdoor furniture and precast islands, supplied by Council; and • Preparation and implementation of traffic, safety, and environmental management plans.
