RFT1819-00019 Supply and Delivery of Construction and Landscaping Materials

Summary and scope

The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to the following: I. Supply and Delivery of unbound granular pavement materials, sand and landscaping materials to various locations within the City of Bunbury; and II. Supply of suitable vehicles, plant and equipment to supply and deliver the materials under contract to various locations within the City of Bunbury as directed by the Principal. The City of Bunbury requires the services of an experienced Contractor to supply and deliver construction materials as required by the Principal on site to various locations within the City of Bunbury. The Contractor shall provide at their own expense, all labour, materials, tools, vehicles and plant of every kind and everything else necessary for the supply and Delivery of unbound granular pavement materials and landscaping products as listed in the schedule of Rates Appendix A and section 2.3 of this Specification to various locations within the City of Bunbury as directed by the Principal. Tenderers can quote for all or any of the material requirements listed at Appendix A – Offer Form. All quantities listed in the Price Schedule are an “estimated quantity” based on current usage. This has been provided as a guide but the Principal does not guarantee that the “estimates” will be the actual volume purchased. In the event that the Contractor cannot supply material that is required within three (3) working days, the Principal reserves the right to purchase this from another supplier. The pavement and select fill materials listed below shall comply with Main Roads Western Australia Specification 302 and 501. This Tender will not have multiple Contractors appointed to each Part, that is only one Contractor will be awarded to each Part of the Tender so it is not a “panel contract”.
