Carpentaria Shire Council invites interested parties in submitting Tenders for Normanton Water Treatment Plant – Filter Floor Upgrade Works. This tender is for Works and Services for the supply and installation of equipment for the Filter Floor Upgrade Works for filters at the Normanton Water Treatment Plant. Normanton is in the Gulf Country region of northwest Queensland, just south of the Gulf of Carpentaria, on the Norman River. Normanton is the administrative centre of the Shire of Carpentaria in Queensland. The WTP supplies treated water to the towns of Normanton and Karumba. The plant is designed to treat a maximum raw water inlet capacity of approximately 4 ML/d.
