Summary and scope

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST The Carmichael Rail Network (CRN) will incorporate up to 3,810 culvert structures. A combination of Corrugated Metal Pipes (CMP), Reinforced Concrete Pipes (RCP) and Reinforced Concrete Box Culverts (RCBC) will be installed for waterways, drainage areas, occupational crossings and fauna crossings. Over 90% of culverts used on the project will be Corrugated Metal Pipes (CMP). There will be approximately 3,420 CMP culverts in 400 locations along the CRN corridor. These pipes will be rolled on site ready to supply to multiple work fronts. The preferred supplier will need to establish multiple CMP rolling mills within designated areas of site adjacent to the rail corridor. Two main CMP rolling mills will be required with the possibility of an additional three (3) smaller facilities. Work fronts will move progressively along the corridor and the preferred supplier will be expected to relocate the rolling mills once site earthworks are complete by others. Your response shall give an indication of how many metres of CMP they can supply to the project each week.
