Summary and scope
The Carmichael Rail Network (CRN) will incorporate up to 3,810 culvert structures with a combination of Corrugated Metal Pipes (CMP), Reinforced Concrete Pipes (RCP) and Reinforced Concrete Box Culverts (RCBC) will be installed for waterways, drainage areas, occupational crossings and fauna crossings. Approximately 369 no. RCBC culverts and 20 no. RCP culverts will be installed in around 75 different locations along the rail corridor. Culverts will need to comply with TMR and AS Standards for the relevant load classes. Manufacturers shall supply culverts for 369 no. RCBC structures with an average length of 19 metres, and 20 no. RCP structures, with an average length of 23 metres, within a 5 – 6 month period commencing September 2019. Tables 1 and 2 include approximate numbers of Reinforced Concrete Pipes (RCP) by diameter and Reinforced Concrete Box Culverts (RCBC) by dimension respectively. Please find tables attached. Full scope of work will provided to shortlisted respondents who respond to this EOI.
