Summary and scope
The City of Victor Harbor seeks Expressions of Interest from organisations experienced in using Input/Output Analysis to assess the long and short term economic impact on the economy of the Southern Fleurieu Region of constructing a Multipurpose Tender Boat Landing Facility for the primary purpose of distributing passengers from Cruise Ships to a wide range of quality activities. The Economic Impact Assessment will need to identify the following: Additional Tourism Visitation likely to be generated from the Multi Purpose Boat Landing Facility, other social benefits associated with the use of the Multi Purpose Boat Landing Facility, cost of infrastructure to accommodate increased use, identification of issues such as safety and other infrastructure requirements, eg signage, medical, parking, shelters, food/drink, accommodation. Council will assess responses to this Expression of Interest process and will then invite those respondents with the requisite skills and experience to formally quote to undertake the work.
