Summary and scope
Toowoomba Regional Council (Council) is constructing a Principal Depot at 24 Nass Road, Charlton. The depot will be a modern, intelligent and sustainable facility to meet the current and future needs of our staff and the communities we serve. The project includes the construction of a central operations and management building, three workshop buildings, a central store, a nursery and a State Emergency Service (SES) Operations Centre. The new facility will replace ageing depots at Harristown and Oakey and the Toowoomba Nursery in Ramsay Street. The new depot is expected to be operational from June 2020. As part of this project, Council is seeking a solution for a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to be supplied and installed in the central store. This contract will also include ongoing maintenance and licencing for a period of five (5) years.
