Summary and scope
For ease of tendering the work has been split into 3 separate sub-quotes: Undergrounding of United Energy powerlines including; a. All civil works for United Energy, Optus and AS3000 lighting assets; b. New 240mm² mains cable and service pits to each supply point; c. Retirement of the Overhead line/poles; AS3000 works to convert shops to underground supplies and arrange changeovers, in conjunction with UE undergrounding works; AS3000 works to extend the existing private public lighting scheme along the western side of Thomas St, including pole foundations, lighting poles, wiring etc. This construction work will need to be delayed until after the Overhead line is removed. However the conduit run and AS3000 pits for the public lighting will need to be installed during the U.E. undergrounding works (item 1 above).
