Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from irrigators with unused allocations that will assist to support Council operations while reducing the impact on town water supplies. This Expression of Interest is for existing holders of water allocations to express interest in either selling their allocation, entering seasonal water assignment agreements or sell volumetrically at their site which will assist Council to maintain roads, construction dust suppression and also maintain open spaces and recreational facilities while reducing reliance on Council’s potable ground water bores and if suitable water quality to Council’s satisfaction it may also be used in urban supply networks.
