The intent of this new LGA Arrangement is to provide Purchasers in Queensland, Tasmania and the Northern Territory with continued easy access to goods and associated services by providing effective and streamlined procurement processes. Purchasers will have an optimal choice of service providers who have a strong regional presence in their respective States and Territory, thereby promoting the development of competitive local business and industry, whilst providing commercially robust rates and terms and conditions of contract.
