Summary and scope
The works shall include the supply and installation of the irrigation system as required by the drawings and this specification and shall include but not be limited to: Upgrade existing 32mm supply to 50mm supply. Supply and installation of irrigation controller. Supply and installation of multi core control cable and conduit. Supply and installation of PE irrigation main line. Supply and installation of master valve assembly. Supply and installation of mainline isolation valves. Supply and installation of solenoid valve assemblies. Supply and installation of spray assemblies. Supply and installation of PE drip sub- main. Supply and installation of solvent welded uPVC lateral pipework. Supply and installation of drip line. Supply and installation of flushing and air relief valve assemblies. Notwithstanding the above, the Irrigation Contractor shall allow for the supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of all necessary equipment and works for a fully functional irrigation system as shown or implied on the drawings. Works shall be performed in such a way to minimise the disruption to existing water services during construction. All works shall be installed in accordance with Australian Standard AS 3500.1-1998 Water Supply.
