Summary and scope
The Alpine Shire Council has a requirement to maintain their many buildings and facilities. As part of this general maintenance, Council requires the services of a contractor to carry out routine air conditioning servicing (per manufacturing guidelines), air conditioning repairs and reactive maintenance due to breakdowns or alarms in buildings and facilities on a regular and/or emergency basis, for a two-year period ending June 2022. This project requires the creation and maintenance of an air conditioning inventory of the entire system for monitor of age and condition and recommendations on replacement of units. Because of the need to maintain our Council buildings and facilities in a state of readiness for public use, most jobs will have a short delivery time frame. To meet Procurement Policy requirements, the Alpine shire wishes to identify suitable contractors based within a 100 km radius from the Alpine Shire boundary and implement a pre-approved panel for General Maintenance Air Conditioning Services by region and for the entire Shire. This pre-approved panel will be reviewed every 12 months.
