Summary and scope

Goondiwindi Regional Council (GRC) is seeking to engage an appropriately experienced Contractor (incorporating a team of all necessary sub-consultants and sub-contractors) for the provision of the full range of design and construction services required for the detailed design and construction of the Goondiwindi Swimming Pool Upgrade. GRC has undertaken a review of the current facility and in turn developed a detailed concept design package (‘The Concept’) for the project. The refurbishment project scope will involve the relining of the existing 50m pool with a proprietary lining system, installation of new wet deck system, balance tank and associated civil works. These components are part of the works described as Separable Portion 1. As a Provisional Item described as Separable Portion 2, replacement of the water treatment and re-circulation system, equipment room structure and mains services will be undertaken as a component of the contract if ordered. A decision regarding inclusion of Separable Portion 2 in the works will be made by the Principal following close of tenders, subject to available project budget. All conforming tenders must comply with this concept design and must include all works indicated. A MANDATORY SITE VISIT on 26 October 2020 is required for all tenderers with registration of attendance in accordance with Part 3 of this request for tender.
