Summary and scope

Somerset Regional Council is seeking tenders for extension of the amenities building at the Fernvale Sports Park Further to questions that have been answered please see the below information. Answers for prospective tenderers from query list below : Extend the existing installation using existing timeclock. Trusses incorporated in existing low pitch roof allow adequate access for services. Roof and ceiling battens contribute space also. Surface run conduits should only be a last resort and then only with site approval by the Architect. Ceiling panel access is permitted provided on completion all disturbed surfaces are left in new condition. Security installation will be by SRC (owner) as specified – Page 3 Geotechnical Report provided via separate email on 11.01.21 Allow to relocate existing drinking fountain to a point in the north-eastern corner of the new building – specific location to be confirmed on site prior to installation and indicated in due course on ‘Construction Issue’ drawings. Excess spoil can be stockpiled on site to Architect’s site directions. Temporary fencing needs to be limited at each end of the building to allow operation of the current facility during construction. Give notice to the owner when specific construction operations interfere with this so special arrangements can be put in place if required.
